Our
History

The Crown Door story begins with Len Enns, who in 1986, saw an opportunity to go from building residential and commercial buildings to supplying them with doors and hardware. He had the opportunity to partner with another individual in an established pre-hung door shop called “Fit-Rite Doors”. Fit-Rite continued as a successful pre-hung door shop, supplying the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas with doors and hardware. In 1995 Fit-Rite was sold to another pre-hung door shop and Len and his son, Mike, who was also employed at Fit-Rite, moved onto other ventures.
In 2003, Len and Mike decided to establish Crown Door and continue the success they had with their previous company. Crown Door’s initial focus was on supplying doors and hardware to residential homes, but then transitioned into supplying multi-family projects and expanded up until present day. With the unfortunate passing of Len in 2018, Mike took over his late father’s duties and now, alongside his sister, Michelle and his own son, Aden have ushered in a new era of expansion.
Since the early 2000’s, we have supplied over 500 projects and developments that span all across B.C., and down the West Coast of the United States.

Our in-house estimating team prides themselves in being knowledgeable, efficient, and reliable and with a combined 40+ years of experience, every job or project that requires cost estimation is handled with acute attention to detail and accuracy to ensure all our customers are receiving industry competitive pricing.
Project Management
Crown Door’s Project Managers oversee projects from start to finish and guarantee that the projects needs have been exceeded by working closely with developers, project managers, and site supervisors. They are able to stay on top of aggressive deadlines, fluid schedules, site changes and interruptions, as well as ever changing costs. Our team works 2-3 months in advance to ensure all the right product is pre-ordered and there when you need it.
